Aminah's First Snow

When we went to Colorado in early October I never thought that we would end up in the middle of a snow storm. On Saturday it was about 80 degrees outside and Sunday night it started snowing at about 9:00 PM and didn't stop snowing until about 6:00 PM on Monday. Of course Auntie Im had to go out and buy Aminah a snow suit and boots so she could go out and play in the snow. Aminah wasn't too sure about the snow but we did try it. The think that she did like was the fact that the gloves were attached to the snowsuit. When her glove fell off she looked to the ground and then noticed that the glove was still attached and was just dangling by a string. We probably stayed out in the snow for about 10 minutes but I think that it took at least 20 minutes to put Aminah into her snowsuit and boots. It was funny to see Aminah instinctively put out her tongue to catch the snowflakes. It was a great experience and I'm glad that we were able to capture it with the camera.

Aminah likes the slide

While we were in Colorado we went to the park next to the school that Belle and Suzie attend. Aminah didn't like the swings or the animals that you sit and bounce on but she did decide that the slide was good. She tried two different slides and the one that has slight bumps wasn't as much fun as the one that went straight down.
